With a growing network of artists across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, Momentum brings together distinct perspectives and approaches to photography. The artists we work with come from different generations and cultural contexts, but share an interest in pushing the medium beyond its traditional boundaries and questioning how photographic images are made, understood, and experienced. Their practices explore photography through construction, abstraction, landscape, portraiture, documentary approaches, performance, sculpture, installation, and new technologies, often blurring the boundaries between image, object, process, and reality. From its base in Miami, Momentum seeks to foster a broader understanding of photography—one that recognizes its history while engaging with the new forms, ideas, and possibilities shaping the medium today.
